Cue: A Cute Robot, A Friend To Learn Coding Skills With

Wonder Workshop Cue Robots

The award-winning Cue robot from Wonder Workshop is designed for kids who have an interest in coding. Cue will help them transition from block-based code to state-machine and text-based programming.

With a growing library of in-app demos, tutorial, and challenges, Cue supports kids’ self-guided exploration of programming languages, robotic capabilities, and personally meaningful projects.

Cue’s motors and sensors work together seamlessly to provide accurate and versatile behavior while reacting in real time to its surroundings, inspiring kids to build problem-solving skills through coding, engineering, and design.

Through its infrared sensors, Cue interacts with other Wonder Workshop robots Dash and Dot. Cue does not require assembly. Download the app, connect it to your device, and choose one of its 4 avatars. The first one is free, but if you want to change it, you pay an additional cost.

Cue's code environment is based on MakeCode from Microsoft. You can also program it with Apple's Swift language, providing you with a great educational tool. It also included Wonder, a state machine-based language designed specifically for Wonder Workshop's robots. Choose the skill level that’s right for you. Easily toggle between block and JavaScript programming to challenge your imagination with cue.

Cue comes in two colors - Onyx and Quartz. Quartz is a Special Edition color and can only be found on Wonder Workshop website and in select Apple stores. Cue is for ages 11+ and works with iOS, Android and Kindle Fire HD 8, 10. The Winner of the Parents' Choice Silver Award 2017.
